2. Hosting, Server Logs and Server-Side Audience Measurement
This website is hosted by IONOS. When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, including the IP address, date and time of access, the requested page or file, the amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system and, where available, the referring page.
The server log files provided by the hosting provider are also evaluated on the server using the self-hosted analytics software Matomo. This evaluation is used exclusively for audience measurement, technical monitoring and improvement of the website. Obvious bots, crawlers, scanners and static resources are filtered out as far as possible.
No Matomo tracking script is executed in your browser for this purpose. No Matomo analytics cookies are set and no tracking or consent information is stored in your browser.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are the secure and reliable operation of the website and privacy-friendly, server-side audience measurement for the technical and content-related improvement of the website.
3. Technically Necessary Cookies
If individual website functions require technically necessary session cookies, these are used only to provide the requested functionality and to protect forms or sessions. They are not used for advertising or analytics.
4. Contact and Beta Test Applications
If you contact us by email or apply to participate in beta testing, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request. Depending on the content of your request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other inquiries.
The data is deleted when it is no longer required for handling your request, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.
5. Recipients of Data
Personal data is disclosed only where this is necessary for hosting, communication, contractual performance or compliance with legal obligations. IONOS may in particular receive data in its role as hosting and email service provider.
6. Storage Period
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Detailed visitor and raw data imported into Matomo is deleted after no more than 6 months. Aggregated statistical reports may be retained for a longer period.
7. Your Rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
8. Obligation to Provide Data
You are not required to provide personal data merely to view the informational pages of this website. Certain information may, however, be required if you contact us, apply for beta testing or request a service.
9. Automated Decision-Making
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
